Pioneer Park: A Mid-Week Protest Option in Westport, Kansas City, Missouri:

The KC Iraq Task Force has recently added a second weekly vigil as an option for those not able to attend the Sunday protests at the J.C. Nichols fountain. An anti-war vigil to oppose the Bush/U.S. government drive to war in Iraq is held every Thursday from 12:00 Noon to 12:45 p.m. at Pioneer Park at the corner of Westport Road and Broadway.
