4. Call the White House to
express your opinion -
> The Bush White House has an "Iraq opinion line" for you to
call. So call and give your opinion of the proposed war in Iraq. The line only
accepts calls from 9-5 EST., Monday thru Friday. Just call the White House at
202-456-1414 and ask for the "Iraq opinion line". A machine will detain you for
only a moment and then a pleasant live operator will thank you for saying "I
oppose" or "I approve." It will only take minutes. Note: The line is closed for
calls on weekends.
> Call Elected Officials. Tell them to
Let the Inspections Work!
Making a call today is a great way of supporting the hundreds of meetings that
happened yesterday. All you need to do is call your Representative's office and
ask him or her to sign on to the Sherrod Brown "Dear Colleague" letter on Iraq.
This letter from Congress basically asks the President to "Let the Inspections
Work" -- it's Congress taking up our petition. The letter will be sent at the
end of the day, so it's urgent that you take a few minutes to call now. If your
Representative has signed the letter (see the list attached below), you can call
to thank him or her for taking a stand on this critical issue. You can reach
Congressman Dennis Moore at Local Phone: 913-383-2013 DC Phone: 202-225-2865

Fast for Peace - One
Day Each Week for the Duration of the War
Why? Resistance: The
Bush Administration would like us to go on with our lives as usual. However,
life is anything but usual for the Iraqi people, our troops and their families.
Fasting from food and other consumer products, including the media one day a
week is an act of resistance, saying “we will not ignore this!”
