Youth Against the War:

"Books Not Bombs" in KC!

Student Strike on March 5

UMKC Campus Greens, along with the Muslim Students Association and UMKC Alliance Against the War participated in the national "Books Not Bombs" student strike on Wednesday, March 5th.

KC area youth provide numbers and strength to the anti-war movement. Two reports of youth involvement against a war with Iraq appeared in local newspapers: "Young Blood" (The Pitch, 2/20) and "Teens at weekly protest rallies" (KC Star, page E-8 Teenstar section, 2/20)
